Paul Blackthorne (March 5, 1969) is an English actor from Wellington, Shropshire. He is most known for his roles on the television series' 24, The Dresden Files, and ER, as well as the movies Lagaan, and 2009's A Christmas Carol. On The River, Blackthorne plays Clark Quietly, the ex-producer of missing explorer Dr. Emmet Cole and the man funding the search party.
